I've seen the kids mature so much in the past few months! Many times they really do take on reading in small groups, reading independently, taking notes, etc. very responsibly on their own...imagine that!

- I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Education. I've taught both private and public school for 20 years. I was an active neighborhood parent at Mark Twain (now my daughter is starting middle school at Pin Oak!)...and am proud to teach there, too! I am excited about providing a challenging inquiry based experience as well as creating a caring, reflective and supportive classroom community.
