The children have 5 assigned daily "jobs" to complete during our reading group rotation. Many of these follow objectives covered recently in class and are used to reinforce the given concept.

- I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Education. I've taught both private and public school for 20 years. I was an active neighborhood parent at Mark Twain (now my daughter is starting middle school at Pin Oak!)...and am proud to teach there, too! I am excited about providing a challenging inquiry based experience as well as creating a caring, reflective and supportive classroom community.
